COQUEREL VS
During prohibition in America, many underground bars used Calvados in cocktails. Mythical recipes such as the Apple Jack Rabbit, the Jack Rose, and the Princess Mary’s Pride were created behind closed doors. Coquerel VS is an homage to the floral, fresh, and fruity calvados that was exported back then.
COQUEREL VSOP
My grandfather created the recipe for our Coquerel VSOP. He wanted to achieve the perfect harmony between the bright fruitiness of the apple and the sweet spices notes coming from the French oak barrels. To do so, part of the eaux-de-vie is aged in heavily charred 200-liters barrels, extracting more color, spices, honey, vanilla, and silkiness
COQUEREL XO
Coquerel XO is our greatest blend: powerful and complex, yet elegant and smooth. The blend of unique eaux-de-vie and the double aging, first in new French oak barrels, then in very old Pommeau de Normandie natural apple apéritif cask, provides a subtle balance between the acidity of the apples, the sweetness of the unfermented sugars, dried fruits, and spices.
The King of Fire VSOP
The King of Fire is a French brandy inspired by craftsmanship, respect for tradition and the philosophy of inner fire. It is created with attention to every detail - from the flame under the pot still to the shade of wood in the barrel.
